'What I learnt from John Petrovski'
-Introduction to Nursing Project-
Project Overview
The Introduction to Nursing course provides practical, theoretical and workplace experiences which allow for students to explore ‘what is health, nursing and working within the health services?’
It is conducted through a Vocational Education and Training lens, taking units from the HLT33115- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. Students are awarded statements of attainment for any units completed within this qualification, along with work placements within the relevant health field. This will set students up for future employment or studies within the nursing or the broader health services. For more information about the course click on the following links |
John Petrovski, is a fictional character from the Introduction to Nursing course, who students need to be, care for and learn from. With the ongoing success of the course, including large student enrolments, expansion to other schools and students successfully entering health sector jobs or study, there are lessons that can be learnt, reflections that can be had and strategies to consider to ensure future success.
